"Wateree Animal Hospital staff have always been very friendly,
helpful and ready to meet emergencies. They are willing to consider
what my past 24 years of breeding experience brings to the diagnosis
process and are not offended or intimidated by my input. On 2 occasions
they have performed 4-5 hour bowel resection surgeries and saved the
lives of my dogs. Dr. Rundlett even transported Nessje to the emergency
hospital for me on his way home one evening after the surgery."

"We moved to the Camden area ten years ago and were looking for a good vet. We just happened to drive by Wateree Animal Hospital. The first thing we noticed was the "Caring Hearts and Caring Hands" motto on the sign. I turned to my wife and said, 'I think we've found our vet.' We have never regretted that decision as we have come to understand and appreciate that Wateree's motto isn't really a motto, but a lifestyle; a lifestyle that we have embraced and reaped the benefits of for all our creatures and ourselves. Thank you, Wateree Animal Hospital, for being there for our family, and becoming part of our family through all the life celebrations."
Jean Green," Matriarch of Steeplechase Cattery"
Camden, SC
"I have been breeding and showing Persians for twenty five years. Before my cats, I had some pups, and I think I was probably one of the first clients to visit Wateree Animal about 36 years ago. I was extremely impressed with Dr. Mckoy and have followed him and his practice for many, MANY years! The receptionists, technicians, and vets all work together as a family. I've never met such a professional and courteous team! I'm fascinated as each and every person at Wateree Animal goes way beyond the call of duty to satisfy their clients. If they don't have an answer, they find one, and always are 'on the money'! AND THEN THERE IS LEE! Oh, my he's the love of my life! I've never known a person with such caring, loving, and miraculous hands! His heart is even greater! With each C-section done on my kitties, Lee is there to get breath in those babies that seem doomed for death. There's something special in the way he holds them up to his ear and talks to them softly while rubbing them with 'those' hands. Without the caring hearts and caring hands of the staff, there would not have been a Steeplechase Cattery and to all of them, I owe my success. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Wateree Animal Hospital."
Molly Lane, "Muffy's Mom"
Camden, SC
"Muffy has been a patient at W.A.H. Since she was first brought home 14 years ago. Every time we visit, whether for a routine check up, or for something serious, we are both treated with the utmost care and respect. Being greeted like a family member when we walk in the door makes a big difference, especially if the patient(and her owner) might be stressed. The vets are the best around, offering not only excellent, compassionate care for their animal patients, but also comfort for the owners who love them. The staff is always warm and friendly to each patient and owner, even during busy times. I have gotten calls at home after hours from staff members and vets who check on Muffy's progress and offer assistance if needed. Those personal touches all make this the only place I'd entrust with Muffy's medical health."

"Wateree is the best there is. The staff is so nice and the doctors are so good. I have used them since 1995 for my pets which are like my children to me. I have 6 birds and I won't go anywhere else for their treatment. The staff will spend as much time as needed on my birds. I always recommend Wateree to others that are looking for a great vet hospital. I love everyone there for what they do for my pets."
Jean Foss
Camden, SC
"I arrived in Camden almost 2 years ago with my three dogs, Sugar, Andi McDowell, and little Seda. I remember my first visit at Wateree, the staff was so hospitable. Sugar has since passed on and I have adopted 'Oliver Twist'. The staff and doctors are truly caring and it is not just their "motto". We are grateful.
